Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Lee (ranked 1125 p4p, 795 weight class) and Azeno Piedbatulo (ranked 112 p4p, 79 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Doomsday Clock. Jeff Lee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Azeno Piedbatulo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Azeno Piedbatulo!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
And Piedbatulo tries to counter it with a takedown but Lee pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Piedbatulo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Lee moves into the clinch.
Piedbatulo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Piedbatulo has his takedown stuffed
letting Lee counter with a right hand.
Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee connects with a single shot there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Piedbatulo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Piedbatulo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lee sees it coming and defends easily.

I really don't envy Lee right now.

Piedbatulo throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Lee!
Lee rolls, trying to escape but Piedbatulo keeps control of the position.

Lee is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piedbatulo is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Lee up.
Lee tries to roll but Piedbatulo sticks to his back.
Piedbatulo is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Lee is tapping out! This one is all over!
