Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gene Alejandro Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Cordoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordoza has chosen Take Five by Tito Puente as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Carlos Cordoza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordoza lands a right hook to the body.
Alejandro Mac misses with a takedown attempt - Cordoza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alejandro Mac closes the distance and clinches up with Cordoza, looking for a takedown. Alejandro Mac pushes Cordoza against the cage but Cordoza circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Alejandro Mac drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cordoza looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cordoza looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cordoza!
