Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodtang Jitmuangnon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Claudio Henriquez! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Jitmuangnon. Jitmuangnon appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Jitmuangnon throws a leg kick which misses Henriquez's front leg but catches the back leg as Henriquez tries to avoid it. Henriquez throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Jitmuangnon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Henriquez scores with a jab to the head.
Henriquez staying out of range there. Henriquez misses with a straight right. A low kick from Henriquez is predictable there and Jitmuangnon counters with a left to the body. Jitmuangnon swings and misses with a shot to the body and Henriquez counters with a head kick. Jitmuangnon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Henriquez throws out the jab. Henriquez throws a right hand that misses
and Jitmuangnon counters with a big right hand! Oh Henriquez is in trouble here! Jitmuangnon follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodtang Jitmuangnon! After the fight, Rodtang Jitmuangnon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
