Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Prix (ranked 954 p4p, 1372 weight class) and Sol Peters (ranked 125 p4p, 168 weight class). Prix comes to the cage accompanied by Richard by Slowdive. Peters is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Skyfire - Shogun. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cyrus Prix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sol Peters! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters staying out of range there. Prix takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
 It looks like Cyrus Prix has been cut. Peters takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Peters throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been informed that Peters has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Peters lands a leg kick that knocks Prix off balance momentarily. Peters blocks the body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peters throws a right hand that misses
and Prix counters with a straight right hand.
 It looks like Sol Peters has been cut. A slow jab from Peters misses its intended target. Prix swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Peters moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Peters throws a quick inside leg kick. Prix uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Peters. Prix ducks under a wild hook from Peters. Peters attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. We've been told by Prix's head coaches at LA FIGHT BARN that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Peters jabbing away but nothing is landing. Peters connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Prix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Prix is looking to counter punch. Peters tried to score with a low kick but Prix checks it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Prix. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Prix. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Peters ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Peters gets cracked there but stands up to it.
 That has opened up Sol Peters's cut even more. Peters misses with a jab to the body
and Prix counters with a nice body kick. Prix throws a hook but Peters blocks it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prix jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Prix steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peters.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Prix moves away. An inside leg kick lands from Prix. Peters throws a body shot but no joy. Prix blocks a leg kick. Prix feinted there with a counter leg kick. Peters just misses with a punch to the body.
Prix appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Sol Peters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peters moves out of range of the body kick from Prix.
Peters swings for the body but Prix moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Prix on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. That kick from Peters tenderised Prix's leg. Prix is trying to keep his angry face on.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Peters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Peters scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Peters misses with a hook. Prix appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Peters lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A slow jab from Peters misses its intended target. Peters uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Peters just misses with a punch to the body.
Prix feinted there with a counter leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peters throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prix sees it coming and avoids it easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sol Peters dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Prix loads up on a big right hand but Peters slips the punch. Prix backing away here, and Peters unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Peters ducks under a wild hook from Prix. Peters bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Prix might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. A slow jab from Prix misses its intended target. Prix takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
 Cyrus Prix's cut is getting worse. Peters wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prix throws a lazy head kick and Peters counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Prix throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Peters getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Peters moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Prix lands a head shot.
 The cut above Sol Peters's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Peters looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Peters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like Prix wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Peters pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Peters throws a leg kick which misses Prix's front leg but catches the back leg as Prix tries to avoid it. Peters ducks under a wild hook from Prix.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Prix checks a leg kick. Peters misses with a leg kick and Prix counters with a nice leg kick. Peters throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Prix. Prix looks to land a left hand but Peters moved out of range nicely. Prix jabbing away but nothing is landing. A nice leg kick from Peters, right into the meat of the thigh.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peters throws a leg kick but Prix sees it coming and moves out of range.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Peters takes a swing at Prix's ribcage but misses. Sol Peters seems to be getting the better of the standup. Prix throws a lazy right hand but Peters sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Prix digs a good body shot into Peters's ribs. Peters lands with a thumping leg kick.
Prix defending well as Peters loads up on a big left hand. Prix is looking to counter with a body kick. Prix throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Prix is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Peters takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Peters throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Prix stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Prix misses with a leg kick. Peters throws a leg kick that is checked and Prix counters with a lovely straight right hand! Prix slips a straight right by Peters. An attempted straight right counter from Prix misses the target. A big right from Prix misses. A jab from Prix misses. Peters looks like he wants to counter punch here. Peters waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Prix. Peters moves out of range as Prix strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Prix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peters.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters scores with a jab to the body. Peters lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Peters connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Prix momentarily.
 Cyrus Prix's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Prix lands a head shot. Nice body punch from Peters. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Prix slips a straight right by Peters. Prix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Prix counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Peters lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Peters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prix. That did some damage! Prix misses with a body kick. A countering left hand to the body from Peters misses. Peters chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Prix throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Prix's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result. Peters throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Prix's head.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Prix takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Peters misses with a wild body shot. Prix thinks about countering with a body kick. Prix throws a body kick that misses and Peters counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 Jeez, Cyrus Prix's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Peters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prix. That did some damage! Wooooo! And that's the end of the fight! Sol Peters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Peters has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
