Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Marx (ranked 750 p4p, 3010 weight class) and Matteo Ruffy (ranked 81 p4p, 266 weight class). Ruffy has chosen DMX - X Gon' Give It To Ya as his entrance music. Matteo Ruffy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrey Marx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matteo Ruffy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ruffy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ruffy engages and cracks Marx with a massive lead left hook - Marx tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ruffy is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Matteo Ruffy made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'There's no gawd in the cage, just the dawg coming to get you!'.
