Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duhan Kruger (ranked 2896 p4p, 2275 weight class) and Owen Vasker (ranked 314 p4p, 264 weight class). Owen Vasker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Duhan Kruger's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Duhan Kruger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Owen Vasker! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasker misses with an uppercut. Kruger saw that one coming.
Vasker has closed the distance and engaged Kruger in a clinch.
Kruger pushes Vasker back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Vasker's coach down at Place of the Way was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Vasker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kruger working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kruger missing with knees to the body.
Vasker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kruger breaks the clinch.
Kruger misses with a double jab.
Vasker just misses with a punch to the body.
Kruger connects with a right hand. Vasker shakes it off.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kruger breaks the clinch.
Vasker gets a clinch. Kruger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kruger tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kruger prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vasker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kruger can't fight it off and eventually Vasker manages to take the fight to the floor. Kruger looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Vasker landing some decent shots from guard. Vasker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vasker is working Kruger over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Vasker controlling from the top position. Vasker postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kruger wants to get back to his feet but Vasker passes into half guard.
Vasker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kruger on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Vasker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Vasker prevents Kruger from standing back up.
Kruger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Vasker scores with a couple of nice shots. Kruger is trying to stand up here but Vasker is controlling him well. Vasker slows the pace down in half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger is trying to stand back up but Vasker is controlling him
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vasker connects with a nice short shot to Kruger's temple. Vasker is taking a breather. Kruger says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Vasker prevents Kruger from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasker performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kruger is trying to stand up here but Vasker is controlling him well. Vasker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kruger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kruger is trying to stand.
Kruger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kruger tries to get out of the position. Vasker lands strikes from half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger is in trouble now - Vasker has advanced to mount! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kruger is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Vasker with a couple of short strikes. Kruger is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Vasker punishing his opponent with strikes. Vasker lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kruger takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Kruger taking shots to the head. Kruger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vasker on the ground. Kruger squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vasker punishing his opponent with strikes. Vasker controlling the position easily from mount. You get the feeling that Kruger really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Vasker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Vasker lands a big shot there that rocks Kruger but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kruger is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Vasker lands a big elbow.
Vasker throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kruger has his hands clasped together but Vasker breaks the hold and Kruger is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Vasker!
