Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamari Powell (ranked 2545 p4p, 3015 weight class) and Ernesto Hoost (ranked 271 p4p, 306 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamari Powell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ernesto Hoost! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoost looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Powell keeps the fight on the outside. Powell scores with a nice strike. Hoost has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Powell scores with a shot to the body.
Powell lands with a hook. Hoost tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Powell connects with a right hand. Hoost shakes it off. Hoost misses with a series of wild punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Powell misses the target. Hoost takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hoost doesn't manage to clinch there - Powell circles away.
Hoost takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hoost looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Powell slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Hoost tries to score with a low kick but Powell moves his leg out of the way. Hoost staying out of range there. Hoost is looking to clinch. Powell seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Hoost tries to clinch there but Powell circles away.
Hoost with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hoost tries to clinch but Powell moves out of range. Nice uppercut lands for Powell. That snapped Hoost's head back.
Hoost throws the kick towards the body but Powell avoids it. Powell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hoost stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hoost uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Powell. Nice jab there from Powell.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Powell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Powell with a hook. Hoost is looking to score with low kicks. Powell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Powell keeps the fight on the outside. Powell is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Hoost fails in his attempt to clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Powell misses the target. Hoost is looking to clinch. Hoost misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Powell lands a lovely overhand right. Powell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A lazy left from Powell finds it's target. Hoost throws a quick inside leg kick. Powell getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Powell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hoost at a distance.
Hoost throws a head kick that misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hoost takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hoost throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Powell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Powell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Powell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hoost has closed the distance and engaged Powell in a clinch.
Hoost scores a nice knee to the body.
Powell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hoost walks away with a smile on his face. Powell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoost pivots, looking for a leg kick but Powell is out of range and Hoost settles back down. Powell lands an overhand right. Powell lands a jab to the head.
Hoost walks into a stiff left hand from Powell. Hoost takes one to the side of the head.
Powell connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hoost's hands. Hoost fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hoost has managed to clinch.
Powell jumps guard but Hoost stands there with Powell around his waist. Powell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hoost lands an elbow inside. Hoost connects with a nasty looking knee right to Powell's face.
Hoost works on Powell's body with a couple of short punches. Hoost unloads a knee to the mid-section. Powell lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hoost has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Hoost throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Powell blocks it with crossed arms. Hoost with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hoost misses with an elbow strike.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoost using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Powell has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Powell on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hoost swings wildly with an uppercut but Powell uses good head movement to avoid it. Hoost tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Powell's elbow. Hoost misses with an elbow over the top. Hoost misses with a punch to the body.
Powell blocks an elbow strike from Hoost.
Powell has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hoost uses from the top position.
Powell is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hoost frees his head nicely. Oh but Powell has switched to an armbar! Hoost is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
