Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rue Tilt (ranked 5221 p4p, 4869 weight class) and Oliver Thomas (ranked 443 p4p, 433 weight class). Oliver Thomas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rue Tilt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tilt throws a lazy body kick

so Thomas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Thomas passes Tilt's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tilt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thomas on the ground.
Tilt is not content to let Thomas control the position.
Thomas wants to pass to mount but Tilt is defending the position.
Tilt is looking to improve his position.

Thomas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tilt defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tilt is not content to let Thomas control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tilt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Thomas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Thomas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tilt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tilt is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Thomas has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Tilt looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Oliver Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Thomas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Thomas changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Thomas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Thomas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Thomas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tilt's guard.
Thomas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tilt's head.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nice uppercut lands for Tilt. That snapped Thomas's head back.
Tilt throws a body punch but Thomas moves out of range.

A punch lands to the side of Thomas 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Nice straight punches there by Tilt. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tilt.
Tilt lands with a cross.
Tilt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tilt lands with a thumping leg kick.

Oooooh!!! Tilt has knocked Thomas down with a huge combo! Tilt steps away and waves a wobbly Thomas back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Thomas is rocked!
Rue Tilt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tilt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thomas is still on wobbly legs! Can Tilt finish him?
Thomas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tilt goes for a small jab and connects. Now Tilt goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Thomas stumbles back but Tilt runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Thomas to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Thomas will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rue Tilt!
