Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wrigley Pigmy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jaxon Vex!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pigmy gets caught napping as Vex dives in and scores a takedown. Pigmy manages to retain guard.
Pigmy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vex defends it easily.
Pigmy has a closed guard, preventing Vex from standing up.
Pigmy keeping moving, preventing Vex from controlling successfully.

Vex trying to control the position from guard on top but Pigmy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pigmy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vex's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vex's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Pigmy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vex as he jumps to the side.
Pigmy gets caught flat footed, as Vex shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pigmy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pigmy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pigmy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vex doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pigmy is tightening it up a little... Vex has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Vex reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Vex taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pigmy!
