And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Domingo The Flamingo! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Doherty slaps away a takedown attempt from The Flamingo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Flamingo holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doherty is stalling in the full guard. The Flamingo pulls Doherty in close to prevent any damage.

He's hooked one of Doherty's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Doherty's back! Doherty is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if The Flamingo gets his way!
Well, with The Flamingo on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Doherty is tapping out... Can he escape the position? The Flamingo biding his time, controlling Doherty. Doherty prevents The Flamingo from getting a body triangle.
