Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Chito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lionel Lazardo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Chito lands.
Lazardo tries to move into range but Chito moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Chito tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lazardo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Danga de danga de dang - Chito scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Lionel Lazardo has been cut.
Lazardo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lazardo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lazardo misses with a wild combination.
Lazardo throws a lazy right hand but Chito sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chito moves out of range of the strikes.
Chito jabs at Lazardo's body.
Lazardo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lazardo misses the jab.
Lazardo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Chito jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lazardo misses with a wild combination.
Chito swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Chito lands with a nice body punch.
Lazardo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chito.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lazardo shoots in for a double leg but Chito sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Chito tries to score with a low kick but Lazardo moves his leg out of the way.
Chito connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lazardo momentarily.
Lazardo walks into a stiff left hand from Chito.
Lazardo is rocked!
Chito is stalking Lazardo. Lazardo circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Chito, and it's lights out! Lazardo really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alex Chito!
After winning the bout, Alex Chito thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Lionel Lazardo spoke after the fight, saying 'ima comeback even better im going to need a quickturn around'.
