Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Sullivan Lopes (ranked 3550 p4p, 5116 weight class) and Julio Cuervo (ranked 390 p4p, 476 weight class). Julio Cuervo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes has closed the distance and engaged Cuervo in a clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheers as Lopes lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cuervo doesn't seem phased though.

Cuervo makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lopes is rocked!
Cuervo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oh Lopes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lopes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lopes throws a hook but Cuervo avoids it easily.
Lopes drops his guard momentarily, allowing Cuervo to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Lopes! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Cuervo takes it!
