Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Vex (ranked 4240 p4p, 4069 weight class) and Marcelo Blueman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcelo Blueman!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Blueman enables Vex to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blueman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Blueman is looking to stand back up but Vex counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Blueman.
Blueman wants to improve his position but Vex is controlling well.
Vex controlling the action here.
Blueman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vex. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vex seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blueman for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blueman is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Vex jumps into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee asks Vex politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vex prefers to stall for the moment though.
Vex tries to stand but Blueman is controlling his head.
Blueman can't do much from the bottom here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blueman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vex is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Blueman's shoulder. That is not cool.
Vex continues to stall.
Vex in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Blueman is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
