Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlo York (ranked 3979 p4p, 4431 weight class) and Tristan Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlo York! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tristan Heath! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heath slaps away a takedown attempt from York, before circling back to the center of the mat. Despite the aggression on Heath's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. York could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Heath darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. York is looking to control Heath's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can York avoid being mounted? Heath works his way into side control. York knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heath on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heath is staying tight to York's torso, preventing him from escaping.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Heath working away. York wants to get back to his feet. York tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Heath wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Heath is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt York will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Heath advances to mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Heath content just to control the position here. Heath misses with a head shot. York tries to lock up and control but Heath gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Heath misses with a head shot. Heath sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Heath has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Heath tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. York blocking the ground and pound. Heath unloads with some shots from mount but York bucks and avoids them well.

You can see the frustration on York's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Heath is cranking York's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for York! He's tightened the choke and York is tapping out!
