The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath slaps away a takedown attempt from York, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Despite the aggression on Heath's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
York could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Heath darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
York is looking to control Heath's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can York avoid being mounted?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Heath sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Heath has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
