Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joaquin Crane (ranked 3020 p4p, 5379 weight class) and Yusuf Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yusuf Khan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joaquin Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Yusuf Khan! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Crane.
Crane goes for a double leg but Khan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Khan continues to drive forward. Khan looking for a takedown. Khan lands with a short shot to the head.
Crane pulls guard. Khan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Crane is working an open guard so Khan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Khan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Khan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crane as he avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Khan as Crane shoots in. Crane tries to bum rush Khan with a series of wild strikes but Khan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice sprawl there from Crane as Khan shoots in. An attempted straight right counter from Crane misses the target. Joaquin Crane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yusuf Khan. Khan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crane. Crane obviously looking to wear him down.
Khan shoots for a takedown but Crane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crane tries to keep at a distance but Khan has taken the fight into the clinch. Khan is working for takedown but Crane is calmly controlling the position for now.
Crane jumps guard.
Crane pushes a forearm under Khan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Khan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Joaquin Crane!
