Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Russo (ranked 1954 p4p, 3372 weight class) and Rowan Branch (ranked 226 p4p, 345 weight class). Branch has chosen Head Of The Table as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rowan Branch will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branch takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Branch dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Branch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Branch throws a lazy right hand but Russo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Russo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Branch throws out a loose jab but Russo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Russo throwing a counter right hand but Branch manages to avoid it.
Russo throws a jab but it's blocked by Branch.
Branch slips a jab from Russo.
Branch looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Branch cracks Russo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Russo avoids the body shot from Branch.
Russo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Branch counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Russo throws out a loose jab but Branch uses good head movement to avoid it.

Branch has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Russo misses with a looping left.

Russo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Branch counters with a nice body shot.
Russo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Branch sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Russo missing with a left hand there. Branch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Russo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Branch's head.
Branch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Russo.

Russo throws a poor cross that misses
and Branch counters with a right hand to the body.
Branch just misses with a punch to the body.
Russo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Branch slips a straight right by Russo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Branch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gary Russo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Russo throws a combination that misses
and Branch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Gary Russo has been cut.
Branch lands a slapping body shot.
Russo is breathing heavily.
Russo throws a lazy uppercut
and Branch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Russo is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Branch's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Branch throws a hook but Russo blocks it.
Russo misses with a lunging right hand
and Branch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Branch lands a body shot.

Russo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Branch counters with a nice right hand that sends Russo toppling to the canvas! Russo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Branch finish him?!
Russo is rocked!
Branch darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Russo's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Branch before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rowan Branch!
A less than humble Rowan Branch misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
