Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Great Tiger (ranked 1107 p4p, 789 weight class) and John Boris (ranked 146 p4p, 107 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Great Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Boris!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boris tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boris cracks Tiger with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tiger reaches up to try and control the position but Boris seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Tiger rolls and tries to escape and now Boris has his back!

Boris is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Tiger has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Tiger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tiger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tiger has managed to get both his arms back between Boris's legs - danger averted.

Boris drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tiger gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tiger throws out a loose jab but Boris uses good head movement to avoid it.

Boris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tiger doesn't seem bothered though.
