This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 42 wins and 34 losses; Denubis Majere!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Majere decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Hulk (0) vs (2) Majere
Hulk looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Majere pushes past his half guard into mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Hulk (0) vs (5) Majere

Hulk looking to improve position, pressing down on Majere's thigh with his hand. Majere seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Hulk paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Hulk's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Majere picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
