Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rico Holloway (ranked 3747 p4p, 5382 weight class) and Axel Voss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rico Holloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Axel Voss!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holloway rushes Voss and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Holloway tries for a takedown. No joy.
Holloway keeps control of Voss as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Voss working hard to break the clinch.
Voss wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Come on Holloway - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Holloway scores with a hook to the body.
Voss looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Holloway turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Holloway manages to end up in side control.
Voss sneaks out the side door and pushes Holloway away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holloway connects with a nice looking jab.
Voss stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Voss wants it to stay on the feet.
Voss connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Voss feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Holloways jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Holloway slips a straight right by Voss.

Voss's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holloway connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Voss scrambles back to his feet.
Holloway shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Voss but Voss pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Voss shapes to counter with a head kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rico Holloway. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holloway closes the distance and clinches.
Holloway escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Holloway clinches up with Voss and pushes him back against the cage.
Holloway misses with an elbow strike.
Voss is trying to break free.
Holloway jumps guard but Voss stands there with Holloway around his waist. Holloway gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Voss has had enough of the clinch but Holloway keeps him there for the moment.
Holloway has clasped his hands together around Voss's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

You can see the frustration on Voss's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Holloway has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Voss tries to clinch there but Holloway circles away.
Voss lunges at Holloway with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Holloway's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Voss closes the distance and clinches.
Voss tries to circle away but Holloway has him pinned against the cage.
Holloway manages to pull guard.
Voss tries to stand but Holloway is controlling from the bottom.

Holloway throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Voss escapes and throws Holloway's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Holloway manages to work his way to half guard, despite Voss's best efforts.
Holloway knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Voss on the ground.
Holloway has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Voss is working away from the top position though.
Voss escapes and gets back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Holloway shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Voss defends it nicely.
Holloway is trying hard to land a takedown here. Voss sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Holloway shoots in looking for a takedown. Voss tries to sprawl out of it but Holloway keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Voss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Holloway is breathing heavily.

Voss now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nice takedown defense from Voss. No joy for Holloway on that attempt.

Holloway tries to clinch there but Voss circles away.

Voss throws a right hand that Holloway ducks under and follows up with a left that Holloway also avoids with ease.

Holloway misses with a takedown attempt - Voss sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holloway closes the distance looking to clinch
and Voss counters with a head kick. That will keep Holloway thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Voss counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Voss lands a nice shot to the body.
Voss wants to clinch.
Voss jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Holloway needs to keep his hands up - Voss had a free shot at his head there.
Voss connects with a body shot.

Holloway misses the body punch
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
and Voss counters with a nice uppercut.
Holloway misses with a hook to the body
and Voss counters with a nice low kick that buckles Holloway's knee momentarily.
Voss cracks Holloway with a good jab.
Voss smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Voss fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Holloway has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Voss lands a big head kick that sends Holloway tumbling to the mat! Voss takes a step backwards and waves Holloway back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Holloway is rocked!
Voss doesn't manage to clinch there - Holloway circles away.
Oh Holloway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Axel Voss seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Holloway rushes Voss and presses him up against the cage.
Voss has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Holloway trying to control the position but instead, Voss has worked for underhooks and has pushed Holloway into the cage.
Voss's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Holloway takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Voss! Holloway is out on his feet! Voss rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Holloway is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Holloway is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
