Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rico Milka (ranked 627 p4p, 569 weight class) and Richard Hall (ranked 67 p4p, 60 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rico Milka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 56 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Hall!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milka misses with a hook

so Hall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Milka keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully.
Hall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Milka swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Milka wants to stand but Hall is controlling the position.
Milka being controlled here, momentarily.
Milka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hall is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall forces his way into half guard.
Hall stops Milka from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hall is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hall wants to control but Milka is keeping him busy.
Milka is looking to escape.
Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Milka keeps working.

Milka manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hall keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Milka breaks from the clinch.
Rico Milka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Milka throws a head kick but Hall moves out of range.
Hall feints the counter takedown.
Hall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Milka tries to avoid it but Hall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Milka to the ground. Milka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Milka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Milka misses with a wild body shot.
We've been told by Milka's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Milka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Milka lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hall takes a step back to recover.
Hall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Milka tries to avoid it but Hall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Milka to the ground. Milka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Milka stuns Hall with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Milka throws a head kick that half lands.

Hall is rocked!

It looks like Richard Hall has been cut.
Milka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hall is still on wobbly legs! Can Milka finish him?
Milka throws a monster overhand right that drops Hall! Milka follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rico Milka!
