Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Talon Braun (ranked 1783 p4p, 1024 weight class) and Ateba Surprenant (ranked 86 p4p, 56 weight class). Surprenant comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cameroon National Anthem [French Version] kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ateba Surprenant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braun throws a head kick but Surprenant moves out of range.
Braun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Braun swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Surprenant looking to score a takedown here. Braun is defending well but Surprenant drives through and ends up in Braun's guard.
Surprenant drops back, looking for a kneebar! Braun looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Braun looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Braun!
Surprenant can't do much from the bottom here.
Braun tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Braun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Surprenant on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Braun tries to stand but Surprenant controls the position and pulls Braun into his guard.
Surprenant working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Braun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Surprenant is tightening it up a little... Braun has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Braun reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Braun taps out! Nice BJJ there by Surprenant!
