Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ateba Surprenant (ranked 1955 p4p, 2468 weight class) and Cory Holder (ranked 94 p4p, 0 weight class). Surprenant comes into the arena with Cameroon National Anthem [French Version] blaring out of the sound system. Cory Holder has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ateba Surprenant's chin.

Holder's coach down at Cozad MMA New York was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Holder's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Surprenant pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holder wanted to stand there but Surprenant had control of the position.
Holder wants to stand and escape but instead Surprenant has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Surprenant is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Surprenant drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Surprenant jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Holder is looking to stand up but Surprenant isn't so interested in that idea.
Surprenant really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Surprenant is standing up over Holder. Holder looks to escape but Surprenant dives into side control.
Holder is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Surprenant asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Surprenant tries for a kimura but Holder is defending well.
Holder is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Surprenant is controlling him well.
Holder is wriggling around trying to escape but Surprenant has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Holder taps out and Surprenant picks up the big win! Great work there by Surprenant!
