Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Axelrod (ranked 3979 p4p, 4024 weight class) and Szymon Grodecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Szymon Grodecki!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelrod throws an overhand right that lands on Grodecki's shoulder, as Grodecki tries to avoid the shot.
Grodecki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Grodecki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Axelrod struggling a bit here.
Grodecki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Axelrod. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Axelrod tries to buck Grodecki off but Grodecki is having none of it.
Who's going to make the next move?
Axelrod tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Grodecki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Axelrod has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Grodecki doesn't defend quickly enough and Axelrod has managed to lock this one up! Can Grodecki escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Axelrod on a fantastic submission victory.
