Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Curtis Tate Iii (ranked 22903 p4p, 22845 weight class) and James Braddock (ranked 454 p4p, 465 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate Iii on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Braddock looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Donk. Braddock catches Tate Iii right on the button with a cross.
Braddock avoids a punch combination nicely.
Braddock is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Tate Iii's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tate Iii duly obliges.

It looks like James Braddock has been cut.

Braddock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tate Iii swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Braddock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A right-left combo lands from Tate Iii.
Braddock looks to land a combination but Tate Iii avoids it well.
Tate Iii ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tate Iii works the jab nicely.
Braddock misses with a wild combination.
Tate Iii throws a big counter combination but Braddock scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Braddock takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Braddock is rocked!

That has opened up James Braddock's cut even more.

Tate Iii scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Braddock beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Braddock is still on wobbly legs! Can Tate Iii finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tate Iii plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Braddock to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Braddock just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Curtis Tate Iii!
