Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gerald Perez!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

After the fight, Gerald Perez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Mikheil Darchidze spoke after the fight, saying 'Okay, okay, I lose today, but no one stop Mikheil! Maybe I need 3 lungs, yes? He faster, I admit it. But I be back! You not see last of me, I promise you! I run circles ‘round him next time—watch me! Two lungs, still too strong, next time I take victory!'.
