Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Umar Khattab (ranked 1681 p4p, 2008 weight class) and Leroy Dukes (ranked 197 p4p, 226 weight class). Leroy Dukes has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Umar Khattab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leroy Dukes! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dukes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dukes misses with a double jab.
Dukes looks to score with a jab to the body but Khattab is just out of range. A head kick misses from Dukes. A combination from Khattab does no damage.
Khattab rushes Dukes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dukes looking to slow down the pace here. Khattab dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dukes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Khattab goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Khattab slips a jab and a cross from Dukes.
Dukes tries to land a body kick and Khattab counters with a left and a right that stings Dukes. Khattab avoids a kick to the body.
Dukes misses with a low kick. Dukes throws a head kick that half lands.
 It looks like Umar Khattab has been cut. Khattab fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Khattab moves into the clinch. Khattab managing to block the knees to the body from Dukes.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Khattab takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Dukes stalling against the cage.
Dukes misses with a hook to the ribs.

Dukes being controlled against the cage. Khattab wants to take the fight to the mat but Dukes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Khattab tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dukes throws a punch but it's blocked by Khattab. Khattab controlling the action here for a moment.

Khattab's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Leroy Dukes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick misses from Dukes. Khattab went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A head kick misses from Dukes.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Umar Khattab. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dukes throws an elbow that misses.
Khattab's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Khattab breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Khattab keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dukes. Khattab throwing a counter right hand but Dukes manages to avoid it. Khattab misses with a body shot.
Khattab looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And Dukes tries to counter it with a takedown but Khattab pushes his down on his head and steps out. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Umar Khattab will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Umar Khattab's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dukes. Khattab tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dukes was well out of range. Poor timing from Khattab. Dukes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Khattab defends it well. Khattab fails to land with a series of punches.
A swing and a miss from Dukes. Dukes jabbing away but nothing is landing. A good leg kick by Khattab. Khattab slips under a jab. Khattab appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Khattab looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Khattab staying out of range there. A looping hook to the body misses from Khattab. Dukes does a little dance to reset his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khattab looks to land a combination but Dukes avoids it well. And Dukes tries to counter it with a takedown but Khattab pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Oooooh!!! Dukes has knocked Khattab down with a huge combo! Dukes steps away and waves a wobbly Khattab back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khattab has closed the distance and engaged Dukes in a clinch.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Khattab looking to throw knees to the head but Dukes is blocking nicely.
Dukes is trying to force a seperation but Khattab has the dominant position. Dukes will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Khattab up against the cage. I was talking to Khattab's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Dukes lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Khattab takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Khattab stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dukes throws a punch but it's blocked by Khattab. Khattab looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Khattab looking for a takedown. Dukes being controlled against the cage. Khattab scores with a shot to the side of Dukes's head.

Khattab escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Khattab counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Dukes!
 Dukes is rocked! Khattab creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Dukes is out cold and this one is all over! Khattab climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Umar Khattab!
