Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Case Steele (ranked 844 p4p, 1466 weight class) and Zabuza Momochi (ranked 80 p4p, 147 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Case Steele has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Case Steele seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Case Steele!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zabuza Momochi!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Momochi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Steele ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Momochi moves away.
Momochi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Momochi fakes the leg kick and cracks Steele in the body.
A big right from Momochi misses.
Momochi lands a nice shot that snaps Steele's head back.
Momochi misses with a body shot.
Momochi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Steele blocks the body kick.
Steele swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Momochi scores with the left hand. Steele knows he should have avoided that one.
Steele ducks under a wild hook from Momochi.
Steele swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Momochi closes the distance but Steele moves to the side
and Steele counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Momochi thinking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steele takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Momochi throws a body kick that misses.
Steele bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Momochi's head backwards.
Momochi throws an off balance right hand
and Steele counters with a straight right hand.
Momochi lands a glancing blow to the side of Steele's head.
Momochi misses with a double jab
and Momochi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Momochi is rocked!
Momochi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Steele counters with a left to the body.
Momochi looks winded!
A shot to the liver by Steele. Beautiful body shot.
Momochi wants to slow Steele down by chopping away at his legs.
Steele lands a nice shot to the body.
and Steele counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Momochi! He's just covering up as Steele starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Case Steele!
Case Steele retains his featherweight title!
After winning the bout, Case Steele thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
