Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lopez (ranked 4098 p4p, 2766 weight class) and Mark Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Lopez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Parks! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parks throws a right and a left that both miss. Lopez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parks defends it nicely. Parks scores with a jab. Lopez shoots for a double leg takedown but Parks sprawls well. He's pushed Lopez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Parks works over Lopez's head and body with a nice combination.
 It looks like Robert Lopez has been cut. Parks stuffs the takedown attempt from Lopez. Lopez gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Lopez. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lopez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parks looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lopez misses with a kick to the body
and Parks counters with a shoot takedown. Lopez fights it but they end up in guard.
Lopez pushes Parks off and scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lopez fails in his attempt to clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lopez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parks tries to avoid it but Lopez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parks to the ground. Parks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lopez sets himself, and Parks steps forward looking for the clinch! Lopez avoids it this time. Lopez shoots in for a takedown but Parks shows good takedown defense. A head kick misses from Parks. A head kick from Lopez lands but Parks takes it in his stride. Parks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Parks closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Parks darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Parks lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
 Lopez is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parks seems to be working for a kimura but Lopez defends the submission attempt. Oh Lopez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Parks lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Lopez! More strikes land and this one is all over! Parks jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Parks! Mark Parks took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Somebody gotta take out the trash and it had to be me.'.
