Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Jones (ranked 1210 p4p, 1999 weight class) and Zabikhon Zubayrov (ranked 151 p4p, 244 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Jones!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zabikhon Zubayrov!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces Zubayrov off the cage and back into range.
Zubayrov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zubayrov dives in for a single leg takedown but Jones sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Zubayrov's coach down at Club Yurchon was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Zubayrov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Zubayrov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jones counters by clinching up.
Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Zabikhon Zubayrov has been cut.
Jones gets through Zubayrov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Zubayrov gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zubayrov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Jones is posturing up here but Zubayrov has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jones tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jones has to tap! Slick submission there by Zubayrov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Zabikhon Zubayrov!
Zabikhon Zubayrov is the new welterweight champion!
Zabikhon Zubayrov looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Dante Teixeira, come to London on the 28th, and I'll end you!'.
