Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beau Abner (ranked 1980 p4p, 2608 weight class) and Ivan Draski (ranked 222 p4p, 284 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Beau Abner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Draski! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Draski tries to clinch there but Abner circles away.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Draski connects with a knee to the head.
 It looks like Beau Abner has been cut. Abner is trying to pull guard but Draski has him pressed against the cage.
Abner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Abner clinches. Draski looks to throw an elbow but misses. Abner is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Draski missing with knees to the body.

The crowd cheers as Draski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Abner doesn't seem phased though. Draski jabs at Abner's body. Draski works over Abner's head and body with a nice combination. Abner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Abner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Draski moves into range and clinches up with Abner. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Abner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Draski to keep the fight standing.
Abner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Draski lands an overhand right. Draski leaves Abner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A countering left hand to the body from Draski misses. Draski is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Draski misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Abner.

and Abner counters with a three punch combo that has Draski backing up. Draski nods at Abner to acknowledge the strikes. Abner lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Draski jabs at Abner's body. Draski looks winded! Abner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Draski as he avoids it easily. Draski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Abner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Draski counters by moving into the clinch. Abner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Draski just stands there and leans against the cage. Draski throws an elbow that misses.
Abner jumps guard but Draski stands there with Abner around his waist. Abner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Draski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Abner blocks it with crossed arms. Abner tries to pull guard but Draski won't allow it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Draski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Beau Abner's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Abner throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. No luck with that takedown attempt from Abner. Abner looks for a takedown but Draski sprawls well.
Abner gets a clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Draski is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Abner is defending well for now. Draski managing to block the knees to the body from Abner.

Draski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Abner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Draski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Draski postures up.
Draski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Beau Abner will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Beau Abner's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Abner has control of Draski's left arm, preventing Draski from doing any damage. Draski stays in close to Abner's body and controls the position. Abner pulls Draski in close to prevent any damage.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Draski throws a series of punches but Abner avoids them all with ease. Abner attempts a counter takedown but Draski avoids it well and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Beau Abner. I think Abner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
