Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justice Duarte!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mike shoots in for a double leg but Duarte sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A swing and a miss from Duarte.
Mike clinches up against the cage.
Mike gets control of Duarte's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mike will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Duarte seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mike wants to sweep here but Duarte controlling him for the moment.
Duarte throws a big elbow that misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duarte is posturing up here but Mike has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Duarte tries to roll out but it's too tight and Duarte has to tap! Slick submission there by Mike!
