Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Long Duck (ranked 1131 p4p, 1129 weight class) and Marcus Shakes (ranked 118 p4p, 117 weight class). Duck comes to the cage accompanied by Trouble man. Shakes has chosen About the Money- T.I. as his entrance music. Long Duck has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Long Duck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus Shakes! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shakes cracks Duck with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Duck throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shakes! But no joy. Duck misses with an uppercut. Duck takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The fighters circling - Shakes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Shakes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shakes with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Shakes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shakes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Duck has had enough of the clinch but Shakes keeps him there for the moment. Duck can't break the clinch.
Shakes throws a head punch that misses. Duck throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shakes throws a punch but it's blocked by Duck. Duck misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Shakes.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Duck. This has been an exciting period of action!
Duck breaks from the clinch.
Shakes moves into the clinch successfully.
Duck is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Shakes. Duck tries to break the clinch but Shakes is controlling the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Shakes on the inside. Duck is trying to break free. A quick uppercut on the inside from Shakes. Shakes scores with a shoulder strike. Duck can't break the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Shakes. A head punch blocked on the inside by Duck. Shakes gets through Duck's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Duck lands a right hand. Duck throws a punch but it's blocked by Shakes. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Shakes obliges. Shakes lands a left hand.
Shakes misses with a hook from the clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Shakes.
Duck blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Shakes misses with the head strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! With the fighters up against the cage, Shakes throws an elbow but misses. Shakes using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Duck has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Shakes working aggressively here.
Shakes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Duck is defending well for now. Shakes lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A right hook to the body lands for Duck.
Shakes lands a body punch in the clinch. Duck tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shakes's elbow. Shakes with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Shakes makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Shakes prevents Duck from breaking the clinch. Shakes tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Shakes throws a punch but it's blocked by Duck. Shakes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Duck's elbow. Shakes prevents Duck from breaking the clinch. Shakes throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Shakes doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Shakes is working Duck over against the cage. Shakes swings wildly with an uppercut but Duck uses good head movement to avoid it. Shakes misses with a short punch on the inside.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Duck wants to break free but Shakes has control.
Shakes tries to work over Duck's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Duck breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duck connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Duck misses with the combination.

and Shakes moves into the clinch. Duck lands with a short head shot on the inside. Duck blocks an elbow strike. A head punch on the inside from Duck fails to land. A quick uppercut on the inside from Duck. Shakes lands with a short head shot on the inside. Duck is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Shakes tries to land a knee to the head but Duck blocks with his arms.
Shakes lands a shoulder strike. This has been an exciting period of action! Shakes scores with an uppercut up the middle. Duck putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Shakes in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Shakes looks winded!
Duck manages to break the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Duck throws a poor cross that misses
letting Shakes counter with a right hand. Duck throws a hook to the side of Shakes's head but Shakes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Duck is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shakes. A big right from Duck misses. Duck cracks Shakes with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Duck pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Shakes swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Shakes has managed to clinch.
Shakes with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Duck scores with a hook to the body. Duck blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short right from Duck. Duck has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Shakes misses with a knee to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shakes misses with some punches.

A short right from Duck. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Shakes dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Duck counters with a crisp right hand that drops Shakes! Duck lets Shakes back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
 Shakes is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round! Shakes tries to close the distance and clinch but Duck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shakes is still on wobbly legs! Can Duck finish him? Shakes fails with an attempt to clinch.
It looked like Duck wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. BAM! Duck delivers a spinning backfist that drops Shakes like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Long Duck! A pretty intense looking Long Duck took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title. Marcus Shakes was interviewed post fight and said 'Maybe its time to hang it up and coach'.
