Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dariel Sosa (ranked 2519 p4p, 1746 weight class) and Daniel Tyrell (ranked 262 p4p, 185 weight class). Dariel Sosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dariel Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Tyrell! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa misses with a wild body shot. Tyrell with the counter takedown but Sosa avoids it easily. Tyrell takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sosa moves out of range as Tyrell strikes. Tyrell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sosa on the side of the head. Sosa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tyrell moves away. Tyrell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tyrell misses with a straight right. A counter left hand to the body from Sosa misses its target. A looping hook to the body misses from Sosa. Tyrell does a little dance to reset his feet. Tyrell swings widly with a right hand
and Sosa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Tyrell drops Sosa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sosa looks back up at him and smiles so Tyrell waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
 Sosa is rocked!
 It looks like Dariel Sosa has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyrell throws a shot from downtown. Sosa moves away and avoids it. Sosa appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Oh Sosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tyrell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sosa seems to have got his legs back now. Sosa throws a combination that misses
and Tyrell counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tyrell. Tyrell works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Sosa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Sosa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Tyrell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Tyrell stuns Sosa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Sosa misses with a wild combination.
Tyrell walks into a straight right hand from Sosa. A big left from Tyrell misses. Sosa works over Tyrell's head and body with a nice combination. Sosa just misses with a punch to the body.
Sosa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tyrell finds it's way round the side to connect with Sosa's head. Sosa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tyrell throws out the jab. Sosa looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. A looping hook to the body misses from Sosa. Tyrell does a little dance to reset his feet. Sosa lands a jab. Sosa wants to clinch. Sosa is looking to wear down Tyrell with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sosa misses with the body kick
and Tyrell counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Tyrell lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short uppercut from Tyrell. Come on Tyrell - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Sosa breaks from the clinch.
Tyrell connects with the punch. Daniel Tyrell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tyrell jabs Sosa right on the nose. Sosa blinks but takes it well. Sosa tries to bum rush Tyrell with a series of wild strikes but Tyrell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tyrell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Sosa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyrell misses with a body shot.
Tyrell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sosa. Sosa circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sosa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tyrell finds it's way round the side to connect with Sosa's head. Tyrell cracks Sosa with a right hand to the side of the head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyrell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sosa is looking to clinch but Tyrell is avoiding it.
Sosa lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
 It looks like Daniel Tyrell has been cut. Sosa moves out of range as Tyrell strikes. Tyrell looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tyrell might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Tyrell cracks Sosa with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Sosa falls to his knees and Tyrell doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Tyrell!
