Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrellas Kirkas (ranked 3841 p4p, 4021 weight class) and Samoan Joe Seven (ranked 374 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Terrellas Kirkas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Samoan Joe Seven! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seven throws a leg kick which misses Kirkas's front leg but catches the back leg as Kirkas tries to avoid it. Seven scoring well with a low kick there.

A right-left combo lands from Kirkas. Seven misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Seven finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kirkas takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kirkas is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Kirkas throws a right and a left that both miss. A close round but Samoan Joe Seven will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That kick from Seven tenderised Kirkas's leg. Kirkas is trying to keep his angry face on. Kirkas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kirkas misses the jab. Kirkas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Seven. Kirkas takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kirkas tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A nice inside leg kick there by Seven. That's going to slow Kirkas down. Kirkas misses with a low kick. Kirkas misses with a wild combination.

Kirkas thows a left - swing and a miss! This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Kirkas might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Seven lands with a thumping leg kick.

Terrellas Kirkas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kirkas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Seven moves away. Seven tries a head kick but it misses.

Seven throws a sloppy head kick and Kirkas moves out of range easily. Seven takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kirkas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Seven stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kirkas looks to score with a jab to the body but Seven is just out of range. A nice leg kick lands there from Seven. Seven with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

And that's the end of the fight! Samoan Joe Seven comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Seven has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
