Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Bidet (ranked 3721 p4p, 4168 weight class) and Gilgeous Baxter (ranked 399 p4p, 438 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bernard Bidet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilgeous Baxter!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter misses with a right hand
and Bidet cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bidet throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Baxter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bidet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Baxter pushes Bidet up against the cage in a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Baxter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Baxter will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bidet up against the cage.
Baxter has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bidet regains guard immediately.
Baxter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Baxter passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baxter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bidet is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Baxter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bidet, who protects the arm well.
Baxter trying to control the action but Bidet is working from the bottom.
Baxter is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baxter has hold of Bidet's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bidet tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Baxter cranks the arm and Bidet screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bidet, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Gilgeous Baxter!
Our winner, Gilgeous Baxter, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
