Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Vasara (ranked 2975 p4p, 3002 weight class) and Marco Nuevo (ranked 320 p4p, 322 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuevo is looking to clinch but Vasara is avoiding it.
Vasara moves away from the strike by Nuevo.

Nuevo tries to clinch there but Vasara circles away.
A quick step to the side and Vasara tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vasara takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Nuevo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Vasara works Nuevo's body with a nice hook.
Vasara connects with a nice looking jab.
Nuevo throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vasara counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nuevo! Vasara lets Nuevo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Nuevo is rocked!
Nuevo gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Vasara points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Nuevo wakes up just in time to hear Vasara thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Vasara!
