Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Wong (ranked 4388 p4p, 4329 weight class) and Carlton Marshall Pryce (ranked 440 p4p, 429 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carlton Marshall Pryce! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wong showed some decent athleticism there. Wong winds up and cracks Marshall Pryce with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Wong throwing shots but Marshall Pryce is blocking nicely. Marshall Pryce has hold of Wong's hands but Wong slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wong throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wong sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Marshall Pryce defending well though. Wong is trying to control. Marshall Pryce wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Wong drops an elbow to the side of Marshall Pryce's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ground and pound from Wong. Marshall Pryce looks like he's trying to stand up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Wong thows a huge punch but Marshall Pryce dodges it nicely.
Wong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marshall Pryce's head. Wong throwing shots but Marshall Pryce is blocking nicely. Wong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Marshall Pryce blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wong. Marshall Pryce is trying to stand back up but Wong is controlling him

Marshall Pryce has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Wong is on him like a limpet, forcing Marshall Pryce back against the cage. Wong goes for a takedown in the clinch but Marshall Pryce prevents it.
Marshall Pryce lands with a right to the head. Wong changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marshall Pryce fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Wong fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Wong closes the distance and clinches up with Marshall Pryce, looking for a takedown. Wong pushes Marshall Pryce against the cage but Marshall Pryce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marshall Pryce lands a big uppercut and Wong crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wong looks OK. Marshall Pryce waves Wong back to his feet!
 Wong is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marshall Pryce defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wong. Nice takedown defense from Marshall Pryce. No joy for Wong on that attempt. A lazy left from Marshall Pryce finds it's target. Oh Wong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wong has a takedown stuffed. Wong seems to have got his legs back now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall Pryce stuffs the takedown attempt from Wong. Wong gets slowly back to his feet.
Marshall Pryce clinches up against the cage. Marshall Pryce scores with a shoulder strike. Wong is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Marshall Pryce pulls him back up using the underhooks. Wong wants to take the fight to the mat but Marshall Pryce manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marshall Pryce creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Marshall Pryce trying to land knees to the body.
Wong is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Still in the clinch, Marshall Pryce scores with a nice short uppercut. Marshall Pryce misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wong.

Wong is breathing heavily. Marshall Pryce is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Wong is defending well for now. A nice left hand lands by Marshall Pryce.
Wong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Marshall Pryce is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Nice body punch from Marshall Pryce. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Carlton Marshall Pryce dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Marshall Pryce's corner calls for a 1-2. Marshall Pryce obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. No luck for Wong with that takedown attempt.
Marshall Pryce feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wong sprawling to the canvas! Wong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marshall Pryce finish him?!
Marshall Pryce tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wong paws at him with a jab and circles away. Marshall Pryce stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marshall Pryce wants it to stay on the feet.
Marshall Pryce gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. This has been an exciting period of action! Wong takes a shot to the head. Marshall Pryce scores with an uppercut up the middle. A nice left hand lands by Marshall Pryce.

Marshall Pryce gets through Wong's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Marshall Pryce lands a nice shot to the body. Marshall Pryce lands a hook to the side of the head. Marshall Pryce softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Wong is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wong drops down looking for an ankle pick but Marshall Pryce pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Marshall Pryce counters with a crisp right that sends Wong to the canvas! Marshall Pryce follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
