And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Changa Pachanga!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pachanga misses with a left hand
and Duke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No joy there for Pachanga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Duke misses with a few strikes there.
We've been told by Duke's head coaches at War Hound MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pachanga is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duke.
Changa Pachanga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pachanga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duke.
Pachanga tries to clinch but Duke is having none of it.
Duke lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Pachanga shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Duke eats them both and turns towards Pachanga to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Duke counters with a nice uppercut.

and Duke counters with a one-two to the body.

and Duke counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Duke counters with a left and a right that stings Pachanga.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
and Duke counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Pachanga! He's just covering up as Duke starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
