Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Graves (ranked 3886 p4p, 3983 weight class) and Harry French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dylan Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harry French! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and John Mangel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French shoots in and bounces Graves off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. French trying to control but Graves is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. French tries to free his leg and advance position but Graves is retaining full guard. French must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Graves is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. French trying to control the position from guard on top but Graves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
A momentary lapse in concentration from French enables Graves to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. French manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Graves is breathing heavily. Graves throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as French works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Graves connects with a couple of short punches.  That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now French is on top in guard.

French is looking to take a break and control but Graves is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. French controlling the position from side mount.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. French wants to control but Graves is keeping him busy.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
French drives through with a takedown into Graves's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. French stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. French feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Graves on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Graves tries to get out of the position. French trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.  That's three minutes gone in the round. French might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Graves haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Graves keeping full guard, as French tries to pass. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Graves keeping moving, preventing French from controlling successfully.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Graves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has French pinned against the cage. French gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Harry French is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. French fails to land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight! Harry French comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well French has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
