Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jang Hyun Il (ranked 5212 p4p, 3919 weight class) and Curtis White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jang Hyun Il could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Curtis White's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jang Hyun Il!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Curtis White!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyun Il shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in White's guard.
White is trying to control the position but Hyun Il postures up.
Hyun Il stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hyun Il is stalling in the full guard.
White looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
White keeping moving, preventing Hyun Il from controlling successfully.
Hyun Il thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
White wants to get back to his feet but Hyun Il is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hyun Il works over White with some ground and pound from guard.
Hyun Il postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hyun Il trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hyun Il tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard.
Hyun Il wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
White wants to stand and escape but Hyun Il is having none of it.
Hyun Il is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
White wants to hit a sweep here but Hyun Il passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for White there!
Hyun Il controlling the position easily from mount.
Hyun Il can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as White is looking to escape.
Hyun Il lands a big shot there that rocks White but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hyun Il has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

White manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hyun Il is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and White defends it well.
White won't allow Hyun Il to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hyun Il throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hyun Il works his way into full mount!
Hyun Il looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Hyun Il is going oldschool here, as he tries to force White to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so White shrugs it off.

White is looking to improve his position but Hyun Il isn't that keen on the idea.
Hyun Il thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
White is desperately trying to improve his position but Hyun Il has a good base and remains in mount.
Hyun Il lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
White is wriggling around trying to escape.
White in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
White is rocked!
Hyun Il is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, White has managed to escape the submission attempt.
White is still in real trouble! Can Hyun Il finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Hyun Il! White is hurt baaadly! Hyun Il is firing away with more strikes - White is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
