Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Otso Toivonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 157 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Toivonen dives in and grabs Mmm's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mmm pushes down on Toivonen's head and hops out.
Mmm replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Toivonen blocks it well.
Mmm throws a body kick that misses
and Toivonen counters with a right hand to the body.
Mmm shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Toivonen as he avoids it easily.
Toivonen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oooooh!!! Toivonen has knocked Mmm down with a huge combo! Toivonen steps away and waves a wobbly Mmm back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Mmm Mmm has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Toivonen jabs at Mmm's body.
Toivonen thuds a left hand into Mmm's body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Toivonen drops Mmm with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mmm looks back up at him and smiles so Toivonen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mmm is rocked!
Toivonen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Toivonen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Toivonen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight.
Mmm switches off momentarily and Toivonen cracks him with a monster right hand! Mmm topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Toivonen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Toivonen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Otso Toivonen!
Otso Toivonen decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
