Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arun Sowler (ranked 26105 p4p, 5385 weight class) and Best Chess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sowler's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mary - Alex G. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Arun Sowler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Best Chess!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sowler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sowler looks to score with a jab to the body but Chess is just out of range.
Sowler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chess.
And Chess responds with a good body kick, but Sowler manages to step out the way in time.
Sowler throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chess stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sowler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sowler misses the shot to the body.
Chess is trying to counter with his kicks.
Sowler scores with a jab to the head.
Sowler misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chess.
Sowler misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chess slips a jab and a cross from Sowler.
Chess is trying to counter with his kicks.
Sowler lands with a nice combination. Chess backs away looking to recover.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Chess shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sowler is trying to defend but Chess finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Chess stops Sowler from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chess trying to control from half guard but Sowler is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sowler is trying to stand.
Chess trying to control the action but Sowler is working from the bottom.
Sowler is in trouble now - Chess has advanced to mount!
Sowler wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chess tries to control but Sowler wriggling away.
Sowler is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Chess thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Sowler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sowler wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chess wants to control the pace but Sowler is squirming around nicely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sowler is squirming around, avoiding Chess's attempts to control the action.
Sowler is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Sowler somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sowler stalks Chess and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chess's face. Chess staggers backwards, shaken.
Chess shoots in for a takedown but Sowler shows good takedown defense.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Arun Sowler dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sowler misses with a double jab.
Chess follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Sowler shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chess eats them both and turns towards Sowler to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Sowler scores with a three punch combo!

Chess is rocked!
Sowler is looking to wear down Chess with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sloppy strikes from Sowler. Those never looked like landing.
Chess counters with a body kick.
Chess tries to move into range but Sowler moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Chess is still on wobbly legs! Can Sowler finish him?
Sowler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sowler lands a jab.
Sowler walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Chess drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Sowler swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Chess's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arun Sowler!
An intense looking Arun Sowler took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I bent that guy over. #winning'.
