Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 201 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thor Poohammer!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Poohammer defends well and Rivera ends up having to push Poohammer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Poohammer is working Rivera over against the cage.
Rivera is breathing heavily.
Poohammer is stalling here.
Poohammer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Poohammer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Rivera could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Poohammer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut.
Poohammer cracks Rivera with a solid left hand.
Rivera is rocked!
Jeez, Mountain Rivera's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mountain Rivera's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Thor Poohammer!
A relieved looking Thor Poohammer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
