Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liu Xan (ranked 1833 p4p, 22793 weight class) and Pawel Nastula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Liu Xan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liu Xan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 103 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xan punishes Nastula's body with a nice straight punch.
Xan scores with a nice strike.
Xan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Xan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nastula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nastula gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Xan.
Xan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nastula shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Xan counters with a stiff right hand.
Xan swinging wildly here.
Nastula was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Xan cracks Nastula with a good jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Xan avoids a kick to the body.
Xan lands with an overhand left.
Xan swats away the attempt to clinch by Nastula.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nastula tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Xan counter with a right hand.
Xan scores with a hook.
Nastula is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Xan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nastula on the side of the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Xan.
Xan circles away from the clinch attempt
and Xan counters with a right hand to the body.
Xan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Xan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nastula drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nastula avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Xan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nastula defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Xan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nastula is aware though and is defending well.
Xan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nastula can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nastula thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nastula pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Xan is keeping the position for now.
Nastula drops back looking for a leg! Xan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Xan manages to kick Nastula off! Nastula jumps back into Xan's guard.
Xan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nastula can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Xan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nastula manages to get himself to full guard.

Xan drops back looking for a leg! Nastula is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nastula manages to kick Xan off! Xan jumps back into Nastula's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Xan passes Nastula's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Xan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nastula sees it coming and defends easily.
Nastula is not content to let Xan control the position.
Xan is trying to work for a kimura but Nastula is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nastula is looking for a sweep. Xan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Liu Xan dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Xan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nice body punch from Xan.
Xan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Xan lands with a straight right. Nastula didn't see that one coming.
Xan gets tackled into the cage by Nastula. Nastula maintains the clinch.
Nastula is trying to drag Xan to the mat but Xan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Nastula is working for takedown but Xan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nastula drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Liu Xan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Nastula.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xan jumps guard but Nastula turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Xan pulls guard.
Nastula wants to pass the guard but Xan is keeping the position.

Xan working for a triangle but Nastula defends it easily.
Xan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nastula is aware though and is defending well.
Nastula tries to free his leg and advance position but Xan is retaining full guard.
Xan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nastula doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nastula manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nastula really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Xan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nastula stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Xan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Xan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nastula defends well.
Xan is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nastula has his hands clasped together but Xan extends and breaks Nastula's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Xan.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Liu Xan!
