Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bill Jr (ranked 4414 p4p, 3865 weight class) and Darren Dixon (ranked 344 p4p, 328 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Bill Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 28 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darren Dixon! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Dixon. Bill Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dixon.
Dixon takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nice uppercut there from Bill Jr. Dixon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Dixon looks to throw the jab but Bill Jr is out of range. Bill Jr throws a shot to the body.
Bill Jr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Punishing Division in the buildup to the fight. Bill Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dixon tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nice jab there from Bill Jr. Dixon misses with a wild combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dixon takes one to the chin there. Bill Jr scores with a jab. Dixon acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Dixon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bill Jr lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Bill Jr with a hook. Bill Jr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Dixon misses the shot to the body. Bill Jr is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Bill Jr. Beautiful body shot. Dixon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bill Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dixon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dan Bill Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bill Jr lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Dixon throws a right and a left that Bill Jr avoids nicely. Bill Jr scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A nice leg kick from Bill Jr, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bill Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bill Jr gets a clinch. Bill Jr lands with a short shot to the head. Bill Jr is working Dixon over against the cage. Bill Jr lands a left hand.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bill Jr blocking some punches.

Dixon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bill Jr backwards. Dixon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bill Jr avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bill Jr scores with a shoulder strike. Dixon looks winded! A nice left hand lands by Bill Jr.

 It looks like Darren Dixon has been cut. Bill Jr lands with a short shot to the head. Bill Jr lands a body punch in the clinch. Bill Jr scores with a nice hook to the head. Bill Jr lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dixon or not. Bill Jr lands with a left to the head. Bill Jr lands a body punch in the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Bill Jr.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bill Jr is struggling to control the position. A short body shot lands from Bill Jr as the two fighters clinch.

 Dixon is rocked! Bill Jr lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Dixon is still on wobbly legs! Can Bill Jr finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bill Jr lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dixon backwards. Bill Jr lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Dixon to his knees! Bill Jr keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Bill Jr! Dan Bill Jr seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
