Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bakir Kamolov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Asahi Inoue!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inoue ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kamolov tries to clinch there but Inoue circles away.
Kamolov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice defenses there by Inoue.
Inoue catches Kamolov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Inoue misses with a two punch combination.
Kamolov throws a lazy right hand but Inoue sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Inoue steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kamolov.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Inoue! But no joy.
Inoue digs a good body shot into Kamolov's ribs.
Inoue tries to clinch up but Kamolov circles away and keeps his distance.
Inoue lands a really nice looking cross but Kamolov seems unphased.
Inoue connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Inoue misses with a double jab

and Kamolov counters with a single leg into guard. Inoue didn't expect that.
Inoue is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kamolov trying to control but Inoue is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kamolov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kamolov is looking to take a break and control but Inoue is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inoue is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Inoue is not content to let Kamolov control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kamolov has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Inoue is squirming around, avoiding Kamolov's attempts to control the action.
Kamolov manages to capitalize on a mistake by Inoue to take his back!

Inoue is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Inoue is trying to defend against the choke here but Kamolov has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Kamolov Tightens the hold and Inoue taps out furiously! Kamolov displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bakir Kamolov!
