Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josiah Baker!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker misses with a wild combination.

House clinches up with Baker and pushes him back against the cage.

House wants the takedown. Baker is fighting it off but House persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Baker's guard against the cage.

Baker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes House off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
House wants to clinch.

House takes the fight into the clinch.

House drags the fight down to the ground.
House looking for a sweep. Not yet House, not yet.
House seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
House seems keen to control Baker's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
House pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Baker tries to keep at a distance but House has taken the fight into the clinch.
Baker blocks a body shot from House.
House tries to circle away but Baker has him pinned against the cage.
House throws a head punch that misses.
House is trying to force a seperation but Baker has the dominant position.

House breaks from the clinch.
Baker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
House drops down looking for a counter takedown but Baker sprawls and moves away.
Baker throws a right and a left that House avoids nicely.
Baker throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
House fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Baker is looking for the big counter here.
House blocks a leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
House can't break the clinch.
House has Baker pushed against the cage.

Baker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

House shoots and misses
and Baker counters with a three punch combo that has House backing up. House nods at Baker to acknowledge the strikes.
Baker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baker avoids a kick to the body.
House fails to land the takedown.
Baker drops down looking to force a counter takedown but House defends it well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raymond House. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but House paws at him with a jab and circles away.
House is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Baker.
House closes the distance but Baker moves to the side
and Baker counters with a left and a right that stings House.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
House throws a lazy head kick
and Baker counters with a three punch combo that has House backing up. House nods at Baker to acknowledge the strikes.
House doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Baker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

House is rocked!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Josiah Baker dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A lazy body kick from House

and Baker counters with a big slam followed by a series of strikes - this one is all over!
