Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Godfrey Lacroix (ranked 1649 p4p, 1901 weight class) and Jay Leaf (ranked 159 p4p, 183 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Godfrey Lacroix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Leaf!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix moves away from the strike by Leaf.
Lacroix appears to be looking for a big counter.
Leaf looks to land a left hand but Lacroix moved out of range nicely.
Lacroix swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leaf appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Lacroix 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lacroix throws a lazy right hand but Leaf sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lacroix slips under a jab.
Lacroix thinks about countering with a head kick.
Lacroix feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Leafs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lacroix.
Lacroix tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lacroix on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lacroix connects with a body shot that sends Leaf's belly button to the back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lacroix connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lacroix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leaf moves away.
Leaf tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lacroix was well out of range. Poor timing from Leaf.
Leaf misses with an uppercut
and Lacroix connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Leaf loads up on a big right hand but Lacroix slips the punch.
Lacroix is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Leaf lands the left hand.
Lacroix swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leaf swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Lacroix counter with a right hand.
Leaf throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lacroix counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leaf misses with a two punch combination.
Lacroix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leaf.
It looked like Lacroix wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lacroix closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leaf moves away from the strike by Lacroix.
Godfrey Lacroix is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leaf fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lacroix looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Leaf avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little jabbing left from Leaf on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lacroix looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Leaf loads up on a big right hand but Lacroix slips the punch.
Lacroix feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Leaf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lacroix moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lacroix throws a counter high kick but Leaf was just alert enough to avoid it.
Leaf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lacroix throwing a counter right hand but Leaf manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Leaf slips a jab and a cross from Lacroix.
Leaf swings widly with a right hand
and Lacroix counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leaf drops Lacroix with a big left hand and mounts him. Lacroix is in big trouble!
It looks like Godfrey Lacroix has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Lacroix is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Leaf! Lacroix is hurt baaadly! Leaf is firing away with more strikes - Lacroix is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
