Savinov looks to land a body kick but Marlin moved away.

Savinov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Savinov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marlin.

Marlin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Savinov.
Marlin cracks Savinov with an open hand slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marlin throws a lazy right hand but Savinov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Marlin counters with a nice right hand that sends Savinov toppling to the canvas! Savinov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marlin finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Marlin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Savinov! Marlin lets Savinov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
That has opened up Alexev Savinov's cut even more.
Savinov cracks Marlin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Marlin sends Savinov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Marlin is motioning to the referee to let Savinov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Marlin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Savinov thinking.
The crowd cheers as Savinov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Marlin doesn't seem phased though.

We've been told by Marlin's head coaches at Ragnarok\'s Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Keanu Marlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marlin lands a nice hook to Savinov's body. Savinov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Marlin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Marlin counters with a nice right hand that sends Savinov toppling to the canvas! Savinov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marlin finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crack! Marlin connects with the perfect overhand right and Savinov falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Marlin!
