Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Kornilov (ranked 4548 p4p, 3476 weight class) and Liam Blackman (ranked 260 p4p, 228 weight class). Liam Blackman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruslan Kornilov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Blackman! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kornilov drives through with a takedown into guard. Kornilov trying to control the position from guard on top but Blackman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blackman wants to sweep but no luck. Blackman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kornilov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Blackman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kornilov. Blackman is trying to control the position but Kornilov postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kornilov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kornilov wants to control from the top but Blackman keeps moving.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kornilov works over Blackman with some ground and pound from guard. Kornilov looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kornilov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blackman is keeping the position for now.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Blackman tries to close the distance and clinch but Kornilov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Blackman throws a shot to the body.
Blackman scores with a takedown into Kornilov's guard.
Kornilov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blackman is aware though and is defending well. Kornilov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Blackman is sitting in close to Kornilov's body. Kornilov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Blackman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Blackman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kornilov.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ruslan Kornilov! A less than humble Ruslan Kornilov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
